Based upon true events that lead to the deadliest avalanche disaster in American History.  But that’s the end of the story.  The real story is what happened in the days leading up to the disaster.

In February 1910 a passenger train and fast mail train are stranded in the small railroad town of Wellington, Washington for almost a week.  The passengers come from varied socio/economic backgrounds.  Combining that with the influx of over three hundred immigrant workers will bring out the worst and the best in people.
